Admission Process 2025-26 (2082 BS)

New Jharna English Secondary School, Kathmandu, Nepal (Nursery to Class 10)

Admission Requirements

  • Age Criteria: Nursery (2.5–3.5 years), LKG (3.5–4.5 years), UKG (4.5–5.5 years), Class 1 (5.5–6.5 years), and so on by Baisakh 1, 2082 (April 14, 2025).
  • Academic Requirements: No prior record for Nursery–UKG; progress report and transfer certificate for Class 1–10.
  • Entrance Test: For Class 1–10, tests in English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. Nursery–UKG requires an informal interaction.
  • Documents: Birth certificate (JPEG/PNG), transfer certificate (PDF, if applicable), 2 passport-size photos, previous progress report, parent/guardian ID.
  • Application Fee: NPR 500, non-refundable.
  • Health: Basic health certificate or vaccination record recommended.

Submit Documents

Upload or submit: birth certificate (JPEG/PNG), transfer certificate (PDF, if applicable), 2 passport-size photos, progress report, and parent/guardian ID.

Entrance Test (if applicable)

For Class 1–10, students take a test in English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge. The school will provide the test date and syllabus.

Interview and Verification

Shortlisted applicants and parents attend an interview. Documents (e.g., birth certificate) are verified for authenticity.

Admission Confirmation

Pay the admission fee (NPR 10,000) to secure the seat. Attend a welcome orientation before the session starts in Baisakh 2082.

We offer scholarships to support meritorious and deserving students. Apply by Jestha 15, 2082 (May 29, 2025) with required documents.

  • Merit-Based: 50–100% tuition waiver for top 5% performers.
  • Need-Based: 50–75% tuition waiver for families with income ≤ NPR 2.5 lakhs/year.
  • Sibling Discount: 10% tuition discount for younger siblings.
  • Community Scholarship: 20% tuition discount for local residents.
  • Special Category: Up to 100% waiver for orphans or differently-abled students.
